Description
I've been trying to make a full illustration lately but god it's so overwhelming. I need to get back to the habit of drawing for myself first so more complicated paintings don't feel so scary anymore.
It's pretty sketchy and the lighting is a bit all over the place on this one, but it was very fun to paint anyway.

Overall Vision Originality Technique Impact"What" is a simple but intriguing digital painting. The character's vibrant colors show through even in what appears to be a dark room, and she is also quite expressive. The character has good anatomy, though I feel a few small strokes to imply the turning muscles in the neck would be a good addition.
The digital painting has many broad strokes but maintains definitive form. The skin's tone and shading is especially detailed, given the otherwise simple nature of the painting. More detail or color could be added to the eyes, as to make it on par with the rest of the painting, but as is it does fit in with the painting's composition. Too much detail in the eyes might actually take away from the painting, so this might be more of a matter of opinion.
Overall, this is a solid piece. It could do with some minor adjustments to really round out the painting, but is otherwise a pleasant picture.
